5 months ALREADY!

Today our little Selah Renee' (or "Nay Nay" as she is most often called) turned 5 months old. Can you believe it? I cannot!

This month has been full of accomplishments for this little lady. It is amazing how quickly babies grow and change, but this little one is already an over-acheiver -- She has popped her first two teeth already! My other two didn't get teeth until their 6th month! Crazy! Along with the teeth came biting.... Oh joy! If anyone has any advice on how to get her to stop chompin' down when she's supposed to be nursing, PLEASE let me know A.S.A.P.

We also decided to try teething biscuits and some rice cereal last Sunday evening. Aunt Mimi was here to witness the event. Selah did well with the biscuit, except she still doesn't have much control over her hands. She kept surprising herself when her hands would yank away the biscuit and toss it a few feet away! She seemed to enjoy it though. The cereal, on the other hand, was a disaster. She ate two bites and then began gagging with every new spoonful. Maybe she'll be like her big sister Brooklyn and only like cereal flavored with veggies or fruit!

Look at those sparkly eyes! Every day I fall in love more. Selah is such a treasure, and I'm so thankful she's my daughter.
