At 9 months, Selah's rocking in at 16 lbs 7.5 ounces, 28 inches long. She's in the 10th percentile for weight, 65th for height, 25th for head circumference, and if they had a category for foot size, I'm sure she'd be near the 90th percentile! (Big Foot takes after her mommy unfortunately...)
Selah also has my flip-out hair... poor kid. I couldn't get rid of those wispy wings until college!

This month Selah has continued to perfect her crawling techniques, now achieving the master whizzing speed. She also is gaining confidence in pulling herself up to stand along the furniture and mother's leg.... The kitchen chairs have become her walking toys. She pushes them around the tiles, taking steps! Won't be long now before she will officially be a toddler!
Another grand milestone this month was Selah finally got her own room! She's been sleeping in the pack n' play in our room since birth, and now that our new room was ready to be moved into, Selah finally got her crib and changing table set up. (As soon as Scott finishes up the trim, I promise I'll make a "big reveal" post, showing off all the wonderful work my hubby has done to make us a new bedroom! I know the out-of-state relatives are eager to see!)
But now Selah's bedroom looks so bare and plain. :( Scott won't even think about starting another home project right now, so it looks like I'll be working alone!!! Selah has to have a cute room, too! I'm thinking about painting the top half of the room pink, and the bottom half gray, and then decorating the room in elephants. What do you think? The only other idea I have is decorating in a book theme.... with art from different book illustrations. I even found a Little Golden Books fabric print that might work for curtains??? Well, I'm taking thoughts, ideas, and suggestions! :)
